Library Implementing E-Mail Notifications
Fast, Economical, Eco-Friendly Library Notices Start October, 2010
 
In an effort to provide faster service and reduce costs the Greensboro Public Library will soon begin using e-mail to notify customers of updates to their accounts. Hold notices, overdue notices and other communications will be sent to customers through e-mail.
 
Beginning in October, the Library will no longer send notifications by way of the US Postal Service. 
As before, the first attempt to contact a customer will be by phone, 
however, customers can also receive an e-mail notification.
 
Library customers are encouraged to register their e-mail address as soon as possible.
Registration can be completed over the phone or by visiting any Library location.
